Planned Giving

The Vineyard’s Planned Giving Program, known as The VORONOVSKY SOCIETY,  honors those who have made a commitment to The Vineyard’s future by generously including Vineyard Theatre in their estate, trust, retirement or life insurance plans. The lifelong benefits offered to members of The Voronovsky Society begin as soon as you notify us of your planned gift by sending a copy of your records that acknowledges your intention to give to The Vineyard.

Marcia Voronovsky left $25,000 to Vineyard Theatre when she passed away at the age of 99 in 2006. She attended the MacPhail Conservatory of Music and studied sculpture at the Minneapolis Institute of Art before pursuing a career on the stage — performing with many stock companies and with luminaries like Martha Graham, Norman Bel Geddes and Margaret Sullivan. Later in life, Marcia returned to the visual arts, receiving numerous commissions for sculpture portraits as well as teaching at the 92nd Street Y; and as a volunteer with NYU’s Institute of Physical Therapy, she worked with disabled children to create sculpture and crafts. Today we honor Marcia’s legacy as an artist and dedicated supporter of the arts and the leadership she showed in making a generous planned gift by naming our planned giving program after her.

Wire Transfer of Stock

Vineyard Theatre can accept contributions via WIRE TRANSFERS OF STOCK, enabling you to give away appreciated assets and usually avoid a tax gain, receive the regular charitable income tax deduction if you itemize your taxes, and claim a tax deduction for the full fair market value of your stock if you have owned the securities for more than one year. In-Kind Donations

Making an in-kind donation of goods or products can help offset our operating costs. The donation is tax-deductible at the fair market value of the item. Please note that, due to limited storage space, unfortunately not all items can be accepted.
