Vineyard Theatre is located in downtown Manhattan in the heart of historic Union Square. Once the theatrical epicenter of New York, Union Square is now home to thriving restaurants, shops, and artistic venues, making it an exciting place to visit. COVID POLICY

As part of our continued commitment to the health and safety of our patrons, performers, and staff, we are currently enforcing the following health and safety policies:

Vaccination Policy:

Proof of vaccination is not required for audience members. We continue to highly recommend that those who are eligible receive vaccinations based on current CDC guidelines. 

Mask Requirement:

Masks are required for all guests, and must be worn at all times while visiting the theatre. All masks must completely cover the nose and mouth and comply with the CDC guidelines for acceptable face coverings. Guests who do not comply with these policies will be denied entry or asked to leave.

We strongly encourage audience members to use a surgical mask, KN95 or N95 mask and will have approved masks available upon request. 

Requirements for Our Team:

Vineyard staff and artists are required to be fully vaccinated, and up to date with all boosters. All Vineyard staff and crew are required to wear a KN95 or N95 mask while working in the theatre during performances.

Cleaning, Sanitation, and Filtration:

We continue to maintain a rigorous cleaning schedule throughout the building, including all restrooms and high-touch areas between performances.

Our HVAC system is fully up to date, and meets all New York State and CDC guidelines for indoor air quality. We have also placed portable HEPA filters throughout the building to maximize air flow and ventilation.
